What began as a love letter to the city has grown into a brand recognised far beyond Hong Kong’s borders. Locals treasure our designs as a way to celebrate everyday culture, while travellers take them home as keepsakes of their time in the city. Over the years, Liz Fry Design has also built a following among overseas Hongkongers and global fans who long for a tangible connection to the place.
Eco-Conscious by Design
We believe that good design should also be responsible. Our range includes reusable tote bags, bamboo cups, stainless steel tumblers and organic cotton kitchenware – sustainable alternatives created to reduce waste while celebrating culture. Each item is designed with care for both people and the planet.
Celebrating Local Artists
Katie Lee Dowson
Born and raised in Hong Kong, Katie is a freelance illustrator and Visual Arts teacher. Her work Urban Fish captures the movement and vibrancy of city life.
Ellie Hann
An English textile artist who has lived in Hong Kong for seven years, Ellie combines playful patterns with bold colours. Her piece Don’t Be Koi is inspired by the grace and symbolism of koi carp.
Keira Rani McMahon
At just six years old, Keira finds inspiration in the animals around her — from dolphins to pandas. Her work Animals Around Me celebrates childhood imagination and nature.
Harry Harrison
A long-term Hong Kong resident since the 1990s, Harry is a cartoonist known for his witty illustrations. His Dai Pai Dong piece pays tribute to the city’s street food culture.
Jenny Lam
Hong Kong–born designer with a BA in Fashion Design (UK) and a Master’s in Textile Design (PolyU). Her Sackcloth Tea artwork reflects nostalgic memories of Cha Chaan Teng weekends.
