Jenny Lam

(Featured Artist - Banyan Breeze Collection)

Jenny & Liz

Jenny was born and raised in Hong Kong, a multicultural city where she believes “diverse ideas and people come from”.

Jenny studied her Bachelors in Fashion Design in the UK for 4 years and obtained her Masters Degree in Fashion& Textile Design at HKPOLYU.
Art and Design is something she is truly passionate about and she wants to keep pursuing in the future.

In her leisure time Jenny teaches art classes and makes ceramics, the latter of which she has recently won an award for. Her design inspiration comes from everywhere and everything around her. She enjoys exploring new places and also investigating the history and different culture behind her inspirations.

As a child Jenny used to visit a traditional Hong Kong Style café (Cha Chaan Teng) with her parents every weekend before her drawing class. She thought filtering milk tea with a sackcloth bag was a really strange process. As she grew up, she realised it is a unique style you can only find in Hong Kong and she believes it actually tastes so much smoother!

This is the inspiration behind her bold, bright and edgy “sackcloth tea” artwork.
